We would like to thank all of our therapists, behavior consultants, intern, family members, and clients who participated in this years walk. In August several of our therapist helped to raise money for Special Olympics in Indiana by participating in the Color Me Rad 5K. Therapists Cristin O'Brien (Team Captain), Amanda Umphres, Karen Bauthier, Bryan Zimmerman, and Ethan Pickett participated in this event.
In September FBS participated in this years Walk Now For Autism Speaks raising money and awareness for those with Autism. The event started out with a resource fair where areas providers could answer questions about their services and how they could help those with autism. FBS was part of the resource fair with the assistance of Ryan Wood, Frank Mikulski, Cristin O'Brien, Maurizio Emanuele, Kaitlin Clancey, Matthew Zelt, Heather Palmer, Shaun Geise, Ron Roeble, Sean Sumner, Amanda Umphres, Ethan Pickett, and Karen Bauthier. Following the resource fair was the walk in which Team Ferraro walked alongside with other teams to spread the word for Autism. The FBS walk team included Heather Palmer (Team Captain), Ron Roeble, Amber Tierney, Ethan Pickett, Heather Follis, Sean Sumner, Karen Bauthier, Amanda Umphres, Katilin Clancey, Delaney Raker, Jeff Stachera, John Swinehart, and Maurizio Emanuele.
In October despite the rain over 1,000 people turned up to participate in DSANI's 15th annual Buddy Walk. This year a resource fair was held which provided information on case management and other waiver services. Several local dance groups including the Souls Sisters, Soul Brothers, Mad Ants dancers, IFPW cheerleaders, and Jesters participated in the event. Heather Palmer volunteered to take pictures for DSANI and the entire Buddy Walk album can be found on DSANI and FBS Facebook pages. In addition FBS had their largest walk team to date which included Heather Palmer (Team Captain), Darah Jones, Molly Gladfelter, Kaitlin Clancey, Maurizio Emanuele, Anna Wamhoff, Rebecca Laminson, Amanda Umphres, Alex Hutchins, Heather Follis, Jake Newhard, Jillian Meyer, Lori Schweyer, Martha Winchell, and Delany Raker.

I would like to thank all of our Therapists, Behavior Consultants, Clients, and Sponsors who donated of their time and/or money to raise awareness for Down's Syndrome and Autism. The DSANI Buddy Walk was held on October 6 and the Walk Now for Autism Speaks was held on October 13. Both events showcased how together we can help find a cure or increase treatment options for both Down's Syndrome and Autism by working together to help these amazing find the answers and the resources that they need to be successful.
